a little about us.
|
Bethany Bylsma has been a psychotherapist in Seattle for 6 years, using art, archetypal psychology, relationships and tears to tenderly help her clients uncover the stories of ache and joy that lie just beneath the surface of every human heart. She has used her own stories of pain and growth to mentor and teach as an Associate Instructor at the Seattle School of Psychology & Theology and a clinical supervisor for mental health therapists in Washington State. She runs Therapy Godmothers, a business for holding and helping therapists launch themselves into private practices.
Bethany believes that there can be much healing when our hands are digging in the ground outside or covered in flour in a kitchen. She has spent years traveling the world, and soaking in the stories that have become the heartbeat of Tender || Wild. She understands the type of magic and healing and growth that can occur when we step into community to share our stories and is adamant to share this joy with others. Bethany is the heart and soul behind Pie Therapy & Tender||Wild Writing Workshops. Rachel Morell is a playful, creative, magical unicorn when it comes to creating events that speak to heart of those attending. She has captured the essence of summer camp, the sacredness of writing, the power and community of crossfit, and the love in a wedding day with her photographic gifts. She also helps soulpreneurs (solo business owners) feel like a million bucks as she captures head shots, lifestyle photos and the space these business owners call home. You can find her photograph work here.
She's in it for more than the photo too. Sit with her for 5 minutes and you'll feel seen, met, and heard. She loves a good story, and has a way of making yours feel new to you, even after years of repeating it to yourself. Rachel is the laughter and magic behind Cry Camp. Tyler Dunning is a writer and film producer currently working from Boston, MA. He recently completed work as an Associate Editor at Only One, a storytelling platform for ocean conservation, where he wrote & edited articles. Tyler and Bethany have been hosting Tender||Wild Therapeutic Writing retreats for over 4 years. |
